Data and security

Oraklo answers your phone, so it hears your customers. This page says where that data goes and who can touch it. If it is not clear enough to hand to your own data protection officer, tell us and we will fix the page.

Where it runs

The service runs on our own instance in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). It is not a reseller account on someone else’s platform: the application, the database and the real-time audio layer are on infrastructure we control.

Some of the AI providers we depend on process data outside the EU. We do not claim otherwise, and we name every one of them on the sub-processors list so you can make your own decision rather than take ours.

What is stored

Your assistant’s configuration, your account details, and — if you turn it on — a record of calls and chats: the transcript, the time, the caller’s number, and any booking or message the assistant took.

Call recording is off unless you switch it on. A transcript is what the service needs in order to hand you a message; an audio recording is a separate choice, and in several European jurisdictions recording a call means you must tell the caller. That is your decision to make, not ours to make for you.

Your customers are told they are talking to a machine

The assistant says so in its opening sentence on every single call, and says so again if anyone asks whether they are speaking to a person. It is not a setting you can switch off. The EU AI Act requires a system that interacts with people to make that clear; we would do it regardless, because a caller who feels tricked is a customer you lose.

The demo on this website

The demo is a shared assistant that anyone can try. It is not connected to a phone number and it never calls anyone. The business name you type is passed to it as personalisation only, and is never treated as proof of who you are. It runs through the same providers listed on the sub-processors page, so do not type anything into it you would not want them to process.

Turning it off

Your number stays yours and your carrier stays yours. Forwarding is a code you dial on your own phone, and the code that cancels it is the same one. You do not need our permission and you do not need to wait for a support ticket.

What we have not built yet

We are pre-launch and will not pretend otherwise. There is no external security audit, no penetration test report, and no ISO or SOC certification. If you need any of those before you can buy, write to support@oraklo.app and we will tell you exactly where we are.
